The US government, according to NBC correspondent Jim Miklaszewski, now admits that it cannot tie Pfc. Bradley Manning to Wikileaks leader Julian Assange.

The military also admitted that Manning was put on suicide watch improperly twice last week by the base commander at Quantico, essentially as a form of punishment and with no consultation with psychiatrists. During the watch they took his glasses from him so he could not read. Continue reading

Our Capitalism is best due to specific conditions of greater imagination and institutional inventiveness! Well, we are living in the watershed of that ‘imagination’ and ‘institutional inventiveness’ and the opportunism, the dog eat dog ‘value’ of Capitalism, that knows no loyalty except to profit. What is the human endeavor about: profit or a better life for all humans? A rising tide lifts all boats- hell no! Or is that a question outside the scope of Economics?
